Thursday night Jamie and I went to Hull Fair. We hadn't been in years and weren't too sure whether to go or not, but once we got there we were glad we went. Everything seemed magical. Hull Fair is one of Europe's largest travelling fairs and comes to Hull for a week every October. This year it's been the 720th anniversary. Unlike small local fairs, Hull Fair attracts rides, attractions and travellers from a wide variety of different regions from around the country.
We went for a walk around the fair and I had a go at one of the hook-a-duck stalls ...
... where I won a cheesy banana.
We then went along Walton Street, where all the fortune tellers and food stalls are.
Needless to say I got myself some candy floss.
We ended our adventure with a ride on a traditional carousel and of course a hot dog.
