An avarage weekend

This weekend's been o.k. but not great, simply average. I had migraine most of the time although not to an extend where I couldn't function. It's been raining most of the time but with sunny spells. See what I mean about it just being average?

During the short rain free periods I caught a bee and some bugs in my garden on camera.

I also picked some lavender and peppermint for drying:

Whilst hanging the herbs to dry, I enjoyed a cup of peppermint tea from leaves I dried last year in one of these super practical tea filter bags that you can stuff yourself.

I picked some broad beans from my garden ...

... not many but enough to go with the pork we had for dinner.

Despite the rain we went out for a drive and discovered this amazing monument in the middle of nowhere.

Oh, yeah I also made this tasty crusty white farmhouse loaf ...

... and some more granny squares.
