Seville Orange Marmalade + FO

I finally managed to track down some Seville oranges to make marmalade. I definitely wouldn't recommend eating them as they are but they are perfect for marmalade. Although it was a lot of messing about and I swore to myself "never again", after tasting it I'm sure I will give it another go next year when they're in season again in January / February.




I will have some for breakfast tomorrow on a slice of carrot bread.

If you look closer you might be able to see the orange specs in the bread which are bits of grated carrot that I mixed in the dough.


I also managed to finish my slip-over last week which is very warm and cosy.
It's my own design but I forgot again to take enough notes to write up a pattern.
